Google officially announced the launch of Google Bard in Brazil on Thursday (13/07), meeting users' expectations. That artificial intelligence tool rivals the Chat GPT and has a good command of the Portuguese language.
The company's executives explained that the last three months were dedicated to training and improving the platform, so that it could be made available in the country.
In addition to Brazil, Bard will be available in the 27 countries of the European Union. This novelty seeks to take advantage of the public's great interest in generative artificial intelligence. The Bard is based on a great language model (Large Language Models, LLM) to understand requests and propose appropriate responses.
During a roundtable with journalists, Google spokespeople repeatedly emphasized that Bard is an experiment, which is indicated in the interface, according to the images released. "We are very optimistic about how the Generative AI can help people in their daily lives", celebrated marketing manager Leo Longo.
According to him, Google had the support of partners to "localize" Bard, which involved teaching him to understand nuances and sensitive topics in each new location where it will be available. The internet giant suggests some interesting uses for Bard, such as:
- Creation of texts, such as apologies or invitations;
- Get tips about places;
- Find guidance for everyday questions, such as reading recommendations;
- Seek step-by-step instructions to explain a topic to others.
